Mario has had a soccer academy running for years, where mainly underprivileged youngsters are able to train and learn the passion and team spirit of football. Trainings are twice a week and tournaments take place many times during the year –now two of his teams will proudly bear the name Scania on their chests!

Scania is one of the largest sponsors ever for Mario’s Soccer Academy. On the 19th of March the goods were handed over to Mario Nailenge by Truck Namibia MD Ola Arnestam. Kids from the Soccer Academy were also present.

Truck Namibia MD Ola Arnestam stated that the decision to sponsor Mario’s Soccer Academy was easy since it is an excellent cause. – “ It is important with sport since it permits personal growth and enables kids achieving goals. It’s also great for the youngsters to learn about team work and most important of all, for kids to have fun! This does not only apply to Soccer or sports, but also to the Scania business principles.”
